Traditional Formulations

Portuguese and French scholars, doctors, and researchers traveled to Goa during the Portuguese era and have left some secret formulations for skin, body, and health care in old French and Portuguese texts. They blended Virgin Coconut Oil with locally available plants and herbs. The use of these formulations was in the daily routine life of Goan culture, during the Portuguese Era. The infused ingredients are procured from remote tribal mountains and all grown in Goa. The soil is rich in minerals and humus, conductive to agriculture and coconut growth. Therefore, all coconuts and plants grown in Goa are Organic and Natural.

Ancient Indian texts talk about Virgin Coconut Oil and not the usual Coconut Oil or Copra Oil which is more commonly available. The extraction process of normal Coconut Oil destroys many of the essential minerals and nutrients found in VCO.
