Description
Dosage and Administration
- Recommended dose: One tablet twice daily, preferably before meals.
- Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
- Duration of treatment should be as per physician’s guidance.
Note: Dosage adjustments may be needed for elderly patients or those with hepatic or renal impairment.
Side Effects
- Nausea, indigestion, or abdominal discomfort
- Headache
- Flatulence
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Dizziness
- Gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers
Precautions
- Not recommended for use in pregnancy (especially third trimester) and lactating women.
- Use with caution in patients with cardiac, hepatic, or renal disorders.
- Long-term use may require monitoring of liver, kidney function, and blood pressure.
- Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs, anticoagulants, or aspirin without medical advice.
- Alcohol intake should be minimized to prevent gastric side effects.
