Telma AM

Category:
Composition: Telmisartan and Amplodipine Tablet
Strength: 40 mg and 5 mg

Description:

Telma AM is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing Telmisartan (40 mg) and Amlodipine (5 mg).
It is used for the effective management of high blood pressure (hypertension), especially when monotherapy does not provide adequate control.
By combining two complementary agents, Telma AM provides better blood pressure reduction, helping to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents the constriction of blood vessels, allowing them to relax and lower blood pressure.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) that relaxes and widens the blood vessels, improving blood flow and further aiding in blood pressure control.
