Description:

Description

Dosage and Administration
  • One tablet of Pan 40 mg once daily, preferably before breakfast.
  • In GERD or acid reflux, treatment typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks.
  • Dosage may vary based on the condition and physician’s advice.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Like all medicines, Pan 40 may cause some side effects, though not everyone experiences them:

  • Common: Headache, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence
  • Uncommon: Dizziness, skin rash, joint pain
  • Rare but Serious: Severe allergic reaction, low magnesium levels, vitamin B12 deficiency (with long-term use)

  • Inform your doctor if you have liver problems or are taking medications like warfarin, ketoconazole, or HIV protease inhibitors.
