Description:

OFLOX contains Ofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated for topical ophthalmic use. It is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, making it suitable for treating various bacterial infections of the eye.

Description

Dosage and Administration
  • Instil 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2 to 4 hours for the first two days, then 4 times daily as directed by the physician.
  • Use under medical supervision. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
  • Temporary burning or stinging sensation
  • Dry eyes
  • Redness or irritation of the eye
  • Blurred vision
  • Foreign body sensation
  • Allergic reactions
  • Photophobia
  • Eye pain or swelling
  • For external use in the eyes only.
  • Avoid contact lenses during treatment unless advised by the doctor.
  • Use with caution in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.
  • If irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
  • Do not use beyond the prescribed duration to avoid antibiotic resistance.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
