Description:

Loette is a combination oral contraceptive pill containing two hormones: levonorgestrel (a progestin) and ethinylestradiol (an estrogen). It is primarily used to prevent pregnancy and also helps regulate menstrual cycles, reduce menstrual cramps, and manage hormonal acne.

Loette works by inhibiting ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary), thickening cervical mucus to block sperm movement, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.
