Composition: Lamivudine and Zidovudine and Nevirapine
Strength: 150 mg / 300 mg / 200 mg

Description:

Duovir-N is a combination antiretroviral medication used in the management of HIV-1 infection.
It contains three active ingredients — Lamivudine, Zidovudine, and Nevirapine — each targeting the virus at different stages of its lifecycle.
This triple combination helps to lower the viral load, increase CD4 cell counts, and delay disease progression, thereby improving patient survival and quality of life.

Lamivudine and Zidovudine are nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). They block reverse transcriptase, an enzyme essential for HIV replication.
Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), which binds directly to reverse transcriptase and inhibits its activity.
