Category:
Composition: Darbepoetin Alfa Injection
Strength: 40mcg/ 0.4ml

Description:

Cresp 40 contains Darbepoetin Alfa, a synthetic form of erythropoietin, a protein that stimulates red blood cell production. It is primarily used to treat anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chemotherapy-induced anemia in cancer patients.
With a longer half-life than recombinant human erythropoietin, Darbepoetin Alfa allows for less frequent dosing.

Darbepoetin Alfa binds to erythropoietin receptors on erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow, stimulating the production and maturation of red blood cells, helping to correct anemia.
