Composition: TIRZEPATIDE Injection
Strength: 2.5 mg

Description:

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly, injectable medication used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is also gaining recognition for its potential in chronic weight management. Tirzepatide is a dual incretin receptor agonist, uniquely designed to activate both GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptors. This dual action enhances insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon, and reduces appetite, contributing to better glycemic control and weight loss.

Tirzepatide mimics the action of two naturally occurring incretin hormones:

  • GLP-1: Slows gastric emptying, increases insulin secretion, and decreases glucagon levels.
  • GIP: Enhances the insulin response and contributes to appetite regulation.
