ARRI Alexa Mini LF for Full Frame and Large Format (LF)
The ALEXA Mini LF is the latest camera in the highly acclaimed ALEXA MINI series perfectly suited to shooting in Full Frame or ARRI’s new even-larger Large Format (LF) image size.
Equipped with a 4.5K resolution Full-Frame (FF) sensor and a native LPL lens mount, the Mini LF combines large format cinematography with the compact size, precise colour science and stunning image quality of the ALEXA Mini.
Like the original ALEXA Mini, the LF is particularly suited to handheld, gimbal and Steadicam applications which demand a lower weight and form factor when shooting in Full Frame and Large Format (LF) with compatible lenses.
However, whilst the Alexa Mini LF will also capture S-35 spherical and Open Gate Anamorphic, though these won’t capture full 4K image resolution, unless lenses cover 2880×2880 pixels.
